I can't say enough about Jen and Pat McGee of Paws2Claws! I always used to board my dogs but the day my oldest jumped BACK into my car when he realized where he was, was the day I knew I had to do something different. I tried various pet sitters and had a difficult time finding the right fit until I met Jen and later her husband, Pat. They not only adore animals, but run a top notch professional business.

My oldest dog Bear was diagnosed insulin dependent diabetic which meant a strict diet and 2 shots per day at specific times of the day - right before I was to leave for the Christmas holidays. I was overwhelmed and planned to take my 80 pound Bear on the road with me, which would have been harder on him than me. The McGee's promptly called and calmed me and I immediately knew they were much better equipped to handle this situation than I was. My boys no longer suffer from the stress and anxiety of being removed from their home when I have to be away.

The McGee's have given me peace of mind through holidays, vacations, getting home late, mid-day potty breaks, weekly trips during an entire summer and even rescued my locked out daughter! They have allowed me the continued joy of being a pet owner and the freedom to come and go as needed. I never recommend anyone because what works for me may not work for you, but out of 5 stars, I give them 10.

I have been a client with Paws2Claws for over 3 years now. Jennifer and Pat are like part of our family. We have a 18 year old Persian cat who requires a lot of attention, has to be sung to while he eats (or silly kitty gets bored and stops eating), and most importantly needs subcutaneous fluids twice daily. When we first became clients with Jennifer, our cat did not need fluids at all. Then a year ago, it was becoming apparent we needed regular fluids in order to prevent further kidney damage. We asked Jennifer and Pat if they could do it and while they have never done this before for a client, they spent time out of their schedule to learn with us. They met us multiple times at our house or vet to work with a technician to learn the technique. I personally was having the hardest time pricking my baby, so Jennifer would come over regularly until I got the hang of it. That meant the world to me!

Whenever my husband and I travel, we know our precious family member is in wonderful hands with them. They are constantly texting pictures, and are always available to talk in case we miss him and want to check in. Nothing I can say will really do justice to the kind, wonderful people Jennifer and Pat are. I highly recommend their company if you are looking to add an amazing team to be there for your family members that are our pets! Love you both!

This duo has taken such exceptionally great care of our gentle giant TJ, from when he was a teenager all the way thru to his current golden years. For such a sweet boy, he has several issues and they make sure to take care of his every need with his special diet, medications, exercise and just some sweet TLC. When we leave our home, whether for a weekend or a long vacation trip, we NEVER worry! They are wonderful with our dog and keep a watchful eye on our house as well. I use Jennifer McGee with Paws2Claws for Maximus, my Bengal cat, because I prefer the best for him. He LOVES when we travel, because Jen comes by to care for him. She not only cares for him and plays with him she also brings him toys too! Jen is very qualified, competent, courteous, kind, caring, knowledgeable, well you get the idea. We have a yellow lab, Riley,that has tons of energy and needs to play a lot. Jennifer has been coming over to sit with Riley for over 3 years now. She plays ball with her and dries her off if the she gets while running in wet grass. We love the pictures she sends us of Riley when she comes over. She even brings in the mail and has tidied up the kitchen for us on a few occasions. Jennifer also looks in on my elderly mother while we are gone which is a big help. She even brought her donuts one day! She is very thoughtful and we know she takes excellent care of our dog and my mother when we are out of town. We highly recommend!

With both of us being out of the house workers we rely heavily on Jen and Pat to take care of our fur babies during the day when we are away at work. We have enjoyed using Paws 2 Claws 5 days a week for the last several years. They take such good care of our Zealand (3), Cash (1) and Sophie (15). They take the best care of them taking them on long walks, pointing out behaviors they recognize and quite frequently surprising us with kind gestures. We wouldn't dare to think of placing our babies in anyone else's care. Jen and Pat are two of the most wonderful people we have ever met and we are very proud to call them friends.

Beyond Jen's bond with our dogs, what truly sets her apart is how she cares for our family & home. Every single time she's come to our home, she's somehow contributed to our family (never being asked to do so). She lives by the Golden Rule & always treats us like family. She does dishes, sweeps the floor, waters plants, brings in mail, takes out trash, etc. If my husband leaves a coffee cup in the sink before leaving, Jen washes it during her visit. When someone leaves something at home that she knows we forgot, she's making arrangements to get it to us before we land in our destination city. She doesn't miss a beat! A couple of years ago, Jen saved our house from near ruin. She noticed a leak, immediately turned off the water source & called a plumber. Then she sent us video of what was happening so we could take next steps. As we traveled back to Austin, Jen stayed in our home taking care of our dogs, letting in all of the various emergency crews and doing everything she could to make sure our house was in good shape. She also took photographs & video of everything (which we later needed for our insurance company). Upon our arrival home the plumber told us that if Jen hadn't caught the leak, our entire ceiling would've collapsed in about 4-5 more hours. There aren't enough words to express how grateful we are to her. Jen McGee is part of our family & we trust her beyond measure. I have been using Jennifer's pet service for three years now since moving to Bee Cave, TX. My cat absolutely adores her and I can travel with ease knowing that Jennifer is taking good care of my boy and miscellaneous things around the house. Jennifer will handle such things like the trash cans, mail, watering plants and leaving lights on in house when she knows we will get home late. Sometimes I will get random pictures or videos of my cat looking all handsome or doing something cute. Most recently, I got home and Jennifer had 'Alexa' playing some soft music on in the background to create relaxing background noise...now why didn't I think of that???? Most important though is that Jennifer truly adores animals and treats them like her own when they are in her care. We adore Jennifer!
